Sunshine in the Rain
So the past few days it's been rainy rainy rainy. This really stinks with my work, since I can't really take photos in the rain. But Friday, I was out on Kiawah shooting 3 condos. When I left my second condo, I noticed really dark clouds and heard thunder. I rushed to my third condo and the thunder continued to get louder... I rushed in, turned on the lights and set everything up, then started taking photos, knowing I was going to get rained on... but I didn't. As soon as the outside was shot, I went under the roof to go inside and then it was like the clouds opened up and the rain fell. hard. I couldn't have timed it better if I tried!
Monday it rained all day long, and I had a house to shoot at 3. As I drove down the interstate it was raining so hard I could barely see... yet, when I finally pulled up, the rain didn't just stop, but the sun came out and I got blue skies in my photos! And again, on Tuesday, I had two houses to shoot. It was raining all day, yet at both houses the rain stopped, and then continued as soon as I was inside. Then Tuesday night, I had a shoot on the beach at 6:30... again, it rained so hard on the way there I could barely see... yet, when I got to the beach, it was clear blue skies and fluffy clouds. I even got a cute evening sky shot.
You may say this is all just coincidence, but I call it the favor of God. :)
