Christmas?

Christmas? How can I forget about Christmas?! My absolute favorite holiday, and my little brother had to remind me yesterday that it was the week of Christmas. How sad that I actually forgot my favorite holiday.

I'm really starting to prepare for India, and I guess that is where my mind has been - 4 days past Christmas, to the 29th. Yep- 8 Days away now. Where oh where has the time gone??

People are starting to ask me "are you excited?". Well, yes and no. Actually I am extreamly excited, because everyone who knows me knows how I get when I see an Indian family in the United States- I literally squeal with joy. I just love Indians- the people, the culture... I can't say I love being in India, but I do love helping people, and I hope to be a light to the darkness that consumes that country.

So why am I not 100 percent excited?? There is one reason that I actually have a heartache about leaving... My dog, Kutta. I love my dog so much, and he goes everywhere with me, and we do everything together. He is my baby :). I know I am going to miss him so much- but I also know I can't let that be my focus while I am over there. BUT, He is going to be staying with my mom, who loves him like a grandchild, and spoils him more than I do. So I know he is going to have an amazing home while I am in India. <3
