When Good Books End...

This week I have finished two really good books back to back. I'm also about to finnish a 90 day study on Jesus I've been doing, well, for the past 86 days.

The first book I finnished on Tuesday. It's called A Woman and Her God.
This book hit the rights spots at right times in my life... especially the last few chapters.
I'm not much of a non-fiction reader, but this book comes on my highly recommended list for women of all ages.

The second book I finished this week was on Wednesday night.
The Great Divorce by CS Lewis.
(my goodness this guy is amazing)
This is a fiction book about a guy on a bus from Hell to Heaven. But when he gets to Heaven, everyone that comes there are 'ghosts', while the real people in Heaven are solid. The ghosts can stay in Heaven if they wish and become solid, but it isn't an easy process.
CS Lewis's mind is so amazing. This book reminds me a lot of Ted Dekker's series Black, Red, and White, although The Great Divorce takes no time to read... it's more of a short story... But still amazing!

I am always sad when I turn the last page of a really good book.... but then I am excited about starting a new one!
I just picked up a fiction book by Francine Rivers, written on the life of Rahab. (I figured that was very suiting for me since that story in the Bible inspired the name of the ministry I work with) :) I'm super excited about it.
