The Thanksgiving Box
So I've been home for Thanksgiving.. and I've been a lot busier than I thought I'd be. Lots of Photo Shoots, and errands to prepare for India (dmv, address change, visa stuff, bank stuff, shots, ect.) Fun fun.
About a month or so ago I met a lady at a conference I went to. She told me of a tradition she does where every year around Christmas, her family writes down blessings and things they are thankful for that year on a little piece of paper, and put all the papers in a box. They have been doing it for years and she told me how it is now something they look forward to, not just by writing down what they are thankful for, but also re-reading past 'blessings' from years ago.
So I went to Ross and bought a pretty little box to start my own Thanksgiving Box.
We had thanksgiving dinner at my grandparents this year, and the Thanksgiving Box turned out to be a lot of fun. We all wrote down what we are Thankful for in 2010, read them out loud, had some good laughs, and put them all in the box. I love it because it's really a great way to
'count your blessings'
:)
