Hope to the Hopeless.

So last week one of our close friends in the slum took us to a lady who is extremely sick. When we first met her a week ago, she looked like she only had a few days left. But as we were walking to her house, I felt the spirit tell me He would heal her.
We walked in and just sat with her as they sat her up in her bed. We held her hand and prayed over her, and spent about 45 minutes just sitting and talking to her- although she couldn't talk. She has TB. I honestly don't think I've ever seen someone so sick, and so close to death. She couldn't speak, much less smile.
Our second visit we found out that no one comes to see her, which broke my heart.
Today was our third visit, and they moved her to a new house in the slum. (Remember, these houses are very small to begin with, and most don't have running water). The house was a small room barely big enough for a cot to sit in. There was a fan blowing on her, and a chair next to her bed. They put the light switch for her brothers house in that room and strung it over the wall into his house, so if she needed anything, all she has to do is press the button. We had told her we'd come see her Monday, but I got sick with a migraine and couldn't come. So today she asked where we were and why we didn't come (She is now talking btw) :). We cut her nails for her and polished her fingers and toes. I think she smiled almost the entire time.
We've only had 3 visits with her... yet the woman I sat with today was not the same woman I met last week. Please keep her in your prayers. <3
